On July 26, 2025 our beautiful baby boy was born. After a difficult labor experience he was safely delivered and instantly became our greatest blessing. Two weeks later our world turned upside down. Mason was diagnosed with X-ALD (X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy), which is an extremely rare genetic disorder. This diagnosis is not easy to digest, especially while recovering from a C-section, postpartum, and becoming parents for the first time.
However this little boy was given specially to us for a reason and we will do whatever we can to get him the best care. This is life altering for our family and we can use all the support we can get. Mason is the sweetest, funniest, easiest baby and our heart’s have never been so full. God entrusted with this miracle baby and we will do whatever we have to do give him the best life possible. He is strong and we will be stronger for him. This diagnosis will not define Mason and he will live the fullest and biggest life, we will make sure of it. The heavy burden of medical bills is an added stress during an already trying time.
